Chris Jackson

Chris Jackson recently joined FM Government Affairs, LLC after serving as Senior Governmental Affairs Specialist with the Maine State Chamber of Commerce.  In that capacity, Chris represented the state’s largest and most influential business association before the Maine Legislature and other regulatory entities on complex environmental, energy and business regulation issues.  He has appeared before numerous legislative committees, the Maine Board of Environmental Protection, and the Public Utilities Commission.  In addition, Chris has served on a number of public policy stakeholder groups. 

Chris has also served as Vice President of the Maine Energy Marketers Association, where he worked as the principal lobbyist for that organization’s 500 member companies.  He has also served as a Special Assistant to the President of the Maine Senate, where he focused on public policy and public relations for the Senate President and the Senate Republican Caucus.   He has managed a number of local and regional political campaigns, and a statewide primary and general election campaign for Governor in 2006.

Chris is a native of Presque Isle, Maine, and graduated from the University of Maine.  He now lives with his wife and two daughters in Bowdoinham, where he serves on the town’s Finance Advisory Committee.
