Baldacci, Jr. In that capacity, he advised the Governor on a host of public policy issues, and worked with legislators, senior administration officials and various stakeholders towards achieving the Governor's policy objectives.  Before joining the Governor's Office, Mike was a partner in the Government Relations Practice Group of a large Maine law firm, and served as General Counsel to the Maine Democratic Party.  Mike began his legal career in Boston, Massachusetts, first as a law clerk at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and then as an associate at Hale and Dorr, LLP.
